By moving the selector flush handle left, the toilet will flush only half of the water stored in the holding tank. By moving the selector flush handle right, the toilet will flush a full volume of water.

We opted for a professional plumber to do our installation for us because, as your instructions kindly pointed out, supply valves in older homes may become seized. Thanks for the warning because one valve was seized.
